Summer Fun

Since we are hitting the great winter freeze here in Michigan.  I thought I'd share some of the fantastic things that we did this summer.  Michigan is both a winter wonderland because of the snow that falls here, and a summer playground.  Many people don't realize how much there is to do in the summer but any place that you are in Michigan, you are just minutes from water.  Water means outdoor recreation.  While we were visiting the Upper Peninsula, we caught a site that I had never seen before, people parasailing on Lake Superior.  It was amazing to see.  Here is a little clip of it.  It was a pretty incredible sight.  I hope you enjoy it and it brings a little warmth to your day! 

Hello from the great state of Michigan.  We are called the Great Lake State because we are the only state that is surrounded by the Great Lakes.  There is so much to see and do in Michigan.  If you are planning a visit to our state, or just want to take a virtual trip, join us as we go exploring.
